Hello Enlisted Associations Members and fellow NCO’s, Soldiers and Airmen

Welcome to our little place on the web. This website is designed for you, to keep you informed of the issues, and concerns that effect you as enlisted Soldiers and Airmen of the Arizona National Guard.

Our mission as an association is to improve the welfare, benefits, and overall conditions of the enlisted Soldiers and Airmen of our National Guard. How can we as a small group do this you ask? Your association works with local, state and national government to encourage them to increase their support for the Guard. We take your issues to the leadership of the Guard and the nation through political lobbyists ensuring that they understand the issues that effect you.

What has the association done for me you ask? Just to name a few of the many things we have worked on.

State:

2007 tax deferment for all income derived from the National Guard this includes drill pay, AT pay, ADSW pay and any pay derived in a title 32 status. In a nut shell no state tax starting FY 2007!

Deferment for registration for Soldiers and Airmen deployed or activated outside of the state in support of OIF, and OEF.

National:

Tricare for reserve components.

Increase pay and benefits for all pay grades

Increased retirement    (working on lowering the retirement age to 55)

To do this effectively we need your input. We need to know what are the issues that you are concerned with. We need your membership and support, the more members we have the louder voice we have at both the National and State levels.
